Hello There 👋🏻 My name is Bethany Hancock I’d like to tell you a little about myself! I’m a Tennessee based photographer (mostly the Knoxville area) but I am very open to traveling within Tennessee. I’ve been a professional photographer for about 6 years now and I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. I’ve always been very creative ever since I was little and didn’t realize I had a gift until I won an award at a college photography contest when I was a freshman in high school. Since then I have worked very hard to grow with my photography more and more over the years especially with the business side of it. When I’m not taking pictures I’m usually cuddling up with my kitties watching movies or out planning my next shoot. I’ve been happily taken by a wonderful man for 5 years. Two things I love other than photography is soccer and burritos. I don’t have a favorite type of session since I love all of them but I’m definitely known for my milk baths with little ones and my fun mini sessions. I have plenty of experience with all types of sessions and I’m always open to any you might request that I don’t have listed as a package. As of right now I don’t own a studio but I’m definitely hoping to in the future! Me being a nature lover using a gorgeous outdoor location is definitely a go to for most of my sessions. One thing that makes me stand out from others is that I try to make our session a blast while bringing a creative touch. I want to laugh with you and make the session relaxed so your pictures show the real you. Things I love to capture are emotional connections and special moments like faces your baby might make that I happen to catch, a sweet laugh you and your loved one share during the session, a special connection between a mother/father and baby like a kiss and so much more! I want you to feel something when you see your pictures and take you back to these special moments when you look back at them years later. Let me be the one to capture these special moments to cherish for a lifetime.
Great photography is about depth of feeling, not depth of field. -Peter Adams
It is more important to click with people than to click the shutter. -Alfred Eisenstaedt
My interest in photography is not to capture an image I see or even have in my mind, but to explore the potential of moments I can only begin to imagine. -Lois Greenfield
